Rooms are very spacious but public areas are minimal. Do not bring your car as parking nearby is very restricted. Description of property refers to restored 17th.century palace - all evidence of this must have disappeared and is very misleading. Location is however excellent for central Firenze.

The hotel Garden is the door of the beach of Levanto. And yes, our hotel is only 50 meters from the beautiful sea of the Eastern Ligurian Coast which lies a few miles before the one of the Cinque Terre.

In treno: consultate l'orario sul sito ufficiale delle Ferrovie dello Stato.
Vicinanza aeroporti Pisa e Genova.
In auto: attraverso l'autostrada A12 da Genova o da La Spezia all'uscita di CARRODANO-LEVANTO.
Via mare: Navigazione Golfo dei Poeti che collega Levanto con Portofino, le 5 Terre e Portovenere.
The hotel is in Levanto, on the Eastern Coast of Liguria, in the Gulf of Levanto, and it is only 50 meters from the sea, in the middle of the pedestrian zone. But do not worry, all our guests have a special permission in order to park the car for a maximum period of 15 minutes in the hotel's close surroundings.
By car:
The closest tollgate is "Carrodano - Levanto", and it is on the motorway A12, Genoa - Livorno, for those coming from Genoa as well as from La Spezia - Parma.
Once you have left the motorway, you only have to follow the signs towards Levanto.

By train:
You have to take the connection “Genoa-Rome”, and you have to get off the train at the railway station of Levanto, where the most important interregional- and Intercity-trains stop.

From the railway station you will reach the Hotel Garden within 10 minutes by foot.
By aircraft:
The closest airports are at Genoa and Pisa.
К северу от Милана есть чудесный город Бергамо, куда очень стоит заехать. Нам машине это просто.
От себя добавлю (акромя обещаного моего рассказа о Флоренции):
9) Santa Croce - самый старый район Флоренции и одноименный собор (тот что со звездой давида на фасаде).
10) Tempio Ebraico - Флорентийская Синагога (в центре, но проще всего от via Martelli на 6ом автобусе проехать 7 остановок). Это самая красивая синагога в Италии и, пожалуй, во всем мире.
11) Quartiere di Santo Spirito - по ту сторону Арно. Удивительные места, которые не так испорчены туристической индустрией.
12) Piazzale Michaelangelo - площадь на холме возвышающимся над городом, откуда видно всё и вся!
13) Fortezza di Belvedere - крепость рядом с дворцом Питти, в которой летом работает кинотеатр и концертный зал под открытым воздухом.
14) Fiesole - городок в нескольких километрах от Флоренции. На самом деле это стариная Этрусская деревушка из-за которой возникла сама Флоренция. 17ый автобус из центра, 25 минут пути до конечной станции.
......
Ой... Так можно еще долго продолжать...:))) Любимый город всё-таки, один из самых-самых!
Еще пара практичных советов:
1) via Del Corso, в двух кварталах от piazza della Repubdlicca есть кафе-мороженое с самым богатым во Флоренции выбором и человеческими ценами.
2) По диагонали (налево, если стоять спиной к Santa Maria Dei Fiori) от Battistiero есть небольшая столовая Leonardo где за 6-7 евро можно вкусно и быстро пообедать. Место выглядит невзрачно, но еда вкусная, а вода - бесплатно.
3) Во всех музеях Флоренции можно "заказывать" визит. Для этого надо просто позвонить в музей (номера телефонов знают в гостиницах) и назначить время и дату. Таким образом можно избежать жутких очередей.
4) Иностранцы и космополитично настроеные флорентийцы собираются в баре Астор, что к северо-западу от Santa Maria Dei Fiori. Там не дешево, но очень комфортно и легко почувствовать себя "дома":)
